Sun Wukong is one of the playable Hypers in Hyper Universe.
Introduction
This hyper maintains a potent balance of offense and defense, which makes him useful in all sorts of conflicts. He also has a few mobility skills that help him keep up with enemies or escape from a bind.
Story
Those who know of Sun Wukong invariably describe him as a troublemaker. Considering his past, it's hardly an understatement. The list of the Monkey King's exploits could fill days worth of stories, so let's recap only the most famous ones.
He traveled to East Sea Palace and rampaged, demanding a weapon. Tired of his nonsense, the dragon king of the sea had to give him Ruyi Bang to make him stop. He went on to beat up grim reapers and wreak havoc in hell, he ate the peach treasured by the Queen Mother of the West, he stole and ate Taishang Laojun's magical pill, the list goes on and on. He also has a terrible temper, hitting whatever sets him off, so the title of troublemaker suits him well. It is said that Jade Emperor even fell sick because of all the trouble caused by Sun Wukong. However, no one could stop him thanks to his great skill with magic and all the heavenly medicines he's filled himself with. Until he was captured and sealed in the mountain by Buddha himself, Sun Wukong did not stop being a troublemaker.
The most famous of Sun Wukong's tales was surely when he accompanied Xuanzang in the journey to the west in search of Buddhist scripture. His work was acknowledged by Buddha, and he received the title of buddha of war and victory for his trouble. Considering his past, the word buddha doesn't really fit Sun Wukong. When someone talks about his past he tends to get embarrassed and explain that he was just young and reckless. People who suffered at his hands in the past might feel dismayed, but Sun Wukong now is quite different from his early days. Now he carries on his duty as a buddha by beating up monsters. It's a big improvement.
Do not underestimate Sun Wukong just because he is not as wild as before, though. Monkeys are not patient animals, and though they may mature their inner nature remains the same. Even though he acts polite to not besmirch the name of buddha, he still likes to play tricks once in a while. His old enemies still do not trust him."We should send him west again. Or make him capture 108 monsters."
Even now, his least favorite task is to read scripture. Staying in one place and reading is impossible for Sun Wukong. And so he has embarked on a new journey, to the wild worlds of Hyper Universe to train. No one is as excited as the Monkey King that he's on his way, after growing bored of all his own accomplishments.
